    Dr Ajai Seth is a highly experienced Consultant in Sport, Exercise & Rehabilitation Medicine with a passion for restoring optimal performance through rehabilitation. Outside his private practice, Dr Seth is the Clinical Chairman for Circle Integrated Care, the UK’s largest integrated health provider.

    What to expect

    Dr Seth specialises in using non-surgical techniques to rehabilitate patients back from injury. He believes that exercise and physical activity is the best form of rehabilitation. In his consultation, he is able to assess your injury or illness and provide and accurate diagnosis. He is able to perform an ultrasound scan in the consultation and is able to arrange other imaging such as MRI immediately if required.

    Dr Seth believes that patients should be in control of their care and rehabilitation. He will help you understand your injury and go through any scans or investigation with you in detail to ensure you have the full clinical picture. From there, Dr Seth creates a joint management plan with his patients.

    He works closely with other specialists in the same clinic including physiotherapists, strength and conditioning coaches, podiatrists and soft tissue therapists, with seamless transition between practitioners if required. In the uncommon scenario where a surgical opinion is required, Dr Seth has a vast amount of contacts who specialise in the surgical management of sport injuries to ensure the best advice and care is provided.

    Dr Seth believes that getting the diagnosis correct from the beginning is vital in providing his patients with the best care. His clinical interests include the diagnosis, management and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injury and the effective use of multi-disciplinary teams. He is highly trained in musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging diagnostics and therapeutic injections including steroid, high volume, PRP and prolotherapy, as well as shock wave therapy.

    Dr Seth prides himself in giving the best care to his patients, whether they are an elite athelete or an everday exerciser. Dr Seth has extensive experience in treating athletes from a wide range of sports, currently providing physician cover for;

    He often provides player cover at major tournaments and events such as the Cricket World Cup, England 2019. He has a passion for travel and Expedition Medicine, which has seen him accompany medical, scientific and charity expeditions all around the world. He also has vast experience in treating musculoskeletal injuries from children and adolescents to veteran exercisers, both male and female.

    Education

    Dr Seth is passionate about promoting exercise and health in the community. He has a strong academic interest and is the President of the Royal Society of Medicine Sports Medicine and is an Executive Board Member of BASEM (British Association of Sport and Exercise Medicine). His clinical experience reflects his training in General Practice, Rheumatology, Rehabilitation and Sport & Exercise Medicine and his work within the NHS, the military and elite sport.
