Mr Giuseppe Fusai moved to the UK in 1995 and became Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1996. He specialised in Hepato-pancreato-biliary Surgery and Liver Transplant and since 1999, he has worked in several centres of excellence in the UK and abroad, including King"s College Hospital in London and Nagoya University Hospital in Japan, the latter well known for the treatment of cholangiocarcinoma.
Mr Fusai is currently a Consultant Surgeon in the Liver Unit at the Royal Free Hospital NHS Trust in Hampstead, London. He is extensively trained in General and Laparoscopic Surgery including the treatment of benign conditions, such as gallstones and pancreatitis. His primary clinical and academic interest is in liver metastases and pancreatic cancer and in the modalities to treat patients with advanced disease, including vascular reconstruction. -
