    Miss Samantha Tross is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Hip and Knee Surgery. She was the first female Consultant of Afro-Caribbean descent in the UK and one of 5% of female Orthopaedic Consultant Surgeons practicing in the UK.

    Miss Tross graduated from University College London in 1992, before pursuing a career in Surgery. Her surgical training was obtained at a number of London Teaching hospitals including St Georges Hospital, The Royal London and Guy's & St Thomas's hospitals. She also received specialist training overseas at world renowned centres in Toronto, Canada and Sydney, Australia, gaining further experience in Hip and Knee surgery.

    Miss Tross offers: Primary and Revision Hip Replacement Surgery, Primary Knee Replacement Surgery, Knee Arthroscopic procedures, and Management of fractures and common Orthopaedic conditions. Primary Hip Replacement Surgery is performed via a Minimally Invasive approach which leads to less tissue damage, faster recovery and less pain. The key to Miss Tross's success is a high standard of clinical treatment, effective communication and a holistic approach to patient care.

    Aside from her clinical work Miss Tross is actively involved in Medical Education. She regularly teaches medical students and is an Examiner for Imperial College Medical School finals examinations. She is also an Associate Editor for the Journal of Medical Case Reports.
