Our reAssure II health screen

Led by one of our friendly and experienced GPs, the reAssure II health screen offers a comprehensive range of tests for common health issues especially for people over 40, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes and some types of cancers.

After your 60-minute assessment, we'll provide you with a tailored information pack, including details of your assessment and results. With these results, your GP will be able to guide you in developing a personal health action plan for the future.

What's included in my health screen

This health screen includes 39 tests and a full physical examination. This will include a comprehensive blood screening will look into any risk factors for common conditions such as cardiovascular disease and diabetes, as well as certain cancers and autoimmune diseases. You will also have a complete clinical mole check to identify any new or unusual moles.

Men will have a testicular examination and women may also have additional tests including a mammogram if appropriate.

Your reAssure II screen will take a minimum of 60 minutes, with at least 45 minutes spent with one of our experienced GPs. Afterwards you will receive all test results and a personalised roadmap, report and health action plan, which your GP will discuss with you.

Additional tests for women

Women may elect to have some or all of the following assessments:
  • pelvic examination
  • cervical smear test (thin prep) - incurs extra charge for My HCA GP subscribers
  • HPV test - incurs extra charge for My HCA GP subscribers
  • rubella antibodies blood test (for women of reproductive age)
  • breast examination
  • digital mammography (only if clinically appropriate — involves an extra charge)
