Elite screening

Your GP will select from the following advanced tests:

• Adrenal stress profile icon plus

  This saliva test is used to measure imbalances in your stress hormone levels. This can be important in helping you to work with your doctor on managing stress or anxiety, and may also be considered an indicator of issues relating to blood sugar levels.

• Brain MRI scan icon plus

  A painless magnetic resonance imaging test to assess both the brain tissue and blood vessels in the brain. This can help to identify a number of issues including aneurysms and tumours. 

• CT coronary angiography icon plus

  A CT angiogram is a minimally invasive test to examine the coronary arteries in your heart, and assess your risk of heart disease. It involves an injection of dye into the arm, followed by CT scan of your heart and arteries. 

• CT virtual colonoscopy icon plus

  CT scanning is utilised to create a 3D picture of your bowel, which is first inflated with air or carbon dioxide to ensure clarity of the scan. This method is less invasive than traditional colonoscopy, and has become the gold standard for bowel cancer screening. 

• DNAFit icon plus

  A genetic screening test which analyses genetic markers associated with fitness, nutrition and sporting performance. Based on your result, your GP can provide personalised advice to help you build a health and lifestyle plan to optimise your performance. 

• Fibroscan icon plus

  A painless ultrasound of the liver, which tests elasticity and looks for signs of damage or scarring. Liver problems can often be fully treated and cured when found before permanent scarring (cirrhosis) has occurred. 

• Mammography icon plus

  For breast screening, digital mammography is considered the gold standard. We have a full digital mammography suite available, and your doctor will discuss screening at appropriate intervals with you.

• Mp-MRI prostate test icon plus

  A high resolution MRI test used to view the prostate and check for potential tumours. This is a new advanced imaging option in prostate screening.

• Ovarian cancer screen icon plus
