Mr. Am Rai is a highly experienced spinal surgeon. He specialises in treating various spinal conditions, such as spinal stenosis, cervical fusion, disc issues, and scoliosis. Mr. Rai is known for using minimally invasive keyhole surgery. He has performed over 10,000 operations throughout his career and is highly skilled in addressing a wide range of spinal issues. He emphasises conservative treatments when possible, but if surgery is needed, patients can trust in his expertise.

His approach to patient care is to treat each individual with the same level of care he would provide to his own family. Having personally experienced spinal surgery, he understands the challenges patients face and is dedicated to helping them regain their mobility and quality of life.

In addition to his clinical work, Mr. Rai has held leadership positions in the British Association of Spinal Surgeons (BASS), including serving as President. He is also the Director of a spinal charity called Spine Aid, which organises trips to help underprivileged children with spinal deformities.

Mr. Rai is committed to sharing his knowledge and experience, having trained over 25 Consultant Spinal Surgeons worldwide. He has contributed to spinal training curriculum development, serves as the Foundation Programme Director for junior doctors, and reviews surgical practices in the UK through BASS and the Royal College of Surgeons.
