Dr Shazia Afridi is a consultant neurologist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Trust in London. She has a special interest in hormonal aspects of migraine and her research interests include imaging in migraine and complex migraine aura. She is an honorary senior lecturer at King's College, London. She completed her higher neurology training in London and obtained her PhD in Neurology at the Institute of Neurology, Queen Square, studying functional imaging in migraine. Dr Afridi has served on the council for the British Association for the Study of Headache (BASH) and is a trustee for the Migraine Trust. She is also on the scientific committee for the Migraine Trust International Symposium.
