Professor Hitendra Patel is a leading expert in the field of Urology, offering general and specialist urological care. He specializes in urological cancers, including prostate, bladder, and kidney. Professor Patel has been instrumental in the training of junior urologists and has taught extensively on minimal access surgery, robotics, and simulation. He has co-led the implementation of minimal access surgery at several departments. He is actively involved in clinical research and has been published in over 300 articles, book chapters, abstracts, and books. He also supervises students conducting research through PhD and MSc programmes.
