About
Nabeel is a dual-qualified dental and medical professional who began his training in dentistry at the Royal London, graduating in 2002. He worked as a general practitioner and oral surgeon before completing his medical training at Guy's and Kings College. Nabeel underwent basic surgical training in Kent and Sussex before specializing in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery on the London Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Training rotation, gaining experience at institutions including UCLH, GOSH, and Barts Health. His areas of interest are facial trauma, TMJ dysfunction, facial pain, oral surgery (wisdom teeth), and facial deformity. As a Consultant Surgeon, Nabeel specializes in treating trauma cases and general oral and maxillofacial surgery referrals. He also serves as an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at QMUL and is the lead examiner on the Craniofacial Trauma MSc. His research focuses on the acute and chronic management of mandibular jaw joint trauma. Outside of work, Nabeel enjoys spending time with his family.
