Mr. Peter Calder is a Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon. His areas of specialism include orthopaedics, with a particular focus on trauma, limb reconstruction, and congenital and limb deformity correction. Mr. Calder graduated from the University of London in 1993 with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees. He undertook general surgical training on the St Bartholomew's basic surgical rotation and became a Specialist Orthopaedic Registrar through the Royal London Training programme. He has completed a Fellowship at Great Ormond Street in Paediatric Orthopaedics. Additionally, Mr. Calder has published extensively in peer-reviewed scientific journals and is often invited to lecture on paediatric conditions. He is a member of several professional societies, including the British Society of Children's Orthopaedic Surgery. His areas of expertise include knee preservation surgery, revision surgery, trauma, limb reconstruction, and congenital limb deformity correction.
