About
Mr Matthew Gee is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon located in London and Kent. He is highly experienceed in pathologies related to the pelvis, hip and knee. After qualifying from King's College London in 2000, he completed his surgical training in Orthopaedic Surgery in London and the South-East of England and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in 2011.
Mr Gee undertook extensive Fellowship training in lower limb arthroplasty and trauma. This included a 12-month fellowship at Flinders Medical Centre and the Repatriation Hospital in Adelaide, South Australia and 6 months at The Royal London Hospital. His expertise lies in primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery, knee arthroscopy and ligament reconstruction, and pelvic and acetabular trauma surgery. He has a special interest in CT planned custom hip replacements and robot assisted hip and knee replacements.
In 2015, Matthew was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon at King’s College Hospital. He is also the Clinical Lead for Orthopaedic Services to Bexley CCG.
Matthew grew up in Cornwall and now lives in South East London with his family.
