Mr. Jonathan R. Johnson is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in Spinal Surgery. He was appointed to St. Mary's Medical School in 1984 and the staff of the Royal National Orthopaedic as a Spine Surgeon in 1992. In 2003, he helped set up and lead the spinal services at Ravenscourt Park, part of the Hammersmith Hospitals. Mr. Johnson qualified at Barts, training in Trauma and Orthopaedics at UCH and the Westminster Hospitals. His specialist spinal training took place at UCH and the Royal National Orthopaedic, with European Fellowship in Gothenburg, Sweden, and Oslo, Norway. He is a member of the International Society for the Study of the Lumbar Spine (ISSLS), the North American Spine Society (NASS), a founding member of the European Spine Society (SSE), and the President of The British Association of Spinal Surgeons.
