Mr Ben Lindsey practices privately across London and works as an NHS consultant surgeon in London. He was appointed as the first truly dual NHS accredited vascular and renal transplant surgeon in London, working at the Royal Free Hospital before moving to Barts. 

After medical training in London (UCL) he underwent higher surgical training in the UK and South Africa. He is a trusted choice for complex surgery in the UK and overseas. He has a track record of traveling to developing countries to train surgeons in both the practicalities of operating (Ghana, Jamaica, S.Africa, and Jordan) as well as peri-operative care (Singapore, India, and UAE).

He typically sees patients with hernias, lumps and bumps, and abdominal pain. His vascular practice includes varicose veins, aortic, carotid, and lower limb problems including the complications of diabetes. His renal failure practice comprises not only live kidney transplantation but also surgery to enable hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. He frequently provides medico-legal advice as an expert witness for complex vascular cases.
