Miss Annette Reid is a Consultant Gynaecologist with extensive experience in the assessment and management of common gynaecological conditions, including pelvic pain, ovarian cysts, abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, early pregnancy complications, and vulval conditions. She has advanced expertise in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, performing both simple and complex procedures such as hysterectomy, myomectomy, and the removal of benign ovarian cysts. Her practice also includes outpatient diagnostic hysteroscopy and inpatient surgical management of polyps, fibroids, and heavy menstrual bleeding. Miss Reid completed a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences at King’s College London in 1997, followed by an MBBS at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine, University of London, graduating with Distinction in 2002. She undertook three years of surgical training and passed the MRCS Parts 1 and 2 examinations before specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. In 2015, she was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma with Merit in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopy from the University of Surrey and completed ultrasound qualifications in early pregnancy and gynaecology following honorary training at King’s College Hospital, London. She also holds Advanced Skills Modules in Benign Open and Laparoscopic Surgery, Early Pregnancy and Acute Gynaecology, and Labour Ward Practice.
