Mr Madhu Tiruveedhula is a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon with a focus on paediatric orthopaedics, complex foot and ankle surgery, and diabetic foot reconstruction. He works in both NHS and private settings and has specialist interests in limb alignment surgeries, ankle and knee ligament reconstructions, foot and ankle conditions, keyhole surgery, bunion correction, fracture treatment, and reconstruction of flat feet in adults and children.
Mr Tiruveedhula completed his medical training in Bangalore before training as a specialist registrar in trauma and orthopaedics in Leeds. He has also undertaken fellowship training at the University of Southampton, the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) in London, and Guy's and St. Thomas'. He has published work in textbooks and peer-reviewed journals and is a member of several professional organizations, including the Royal College of Surgeons, the British Society for Children's Orthopaedic Surgery, and the London Children Orthopaedic club.
In addition to his clinical work, Mr Tiruveedhula is also involved in medical education as a medical school examiner and postgraduate trainer. Outside of work, he enjoys playing cricket, badminton, and organizing social events in his local area.
