Dr Serge Nikolic is Consultant in Pain Medicine, working in private practice as well as for the NHS at St Bartholomew's Hospital and the Royal London Hospital.
Dr Nickolic has been a consultant since 2006, and his areas of expertise include neuromodulation (spinal cord stimulation), myofascial pain syndromes, spinal pain management, complex regional pain syndromes, headaches, as well as neuropathic and abdominal pain.
Dr Nikolic takes an personalised approach to care, providing each patient with treatment tailored to their specific needs and wishes. He also offers a holistic approach to treatment, which includes interventional pain management, analgesia optimisation and comprehensive rehabilitation and psychological support when appropriate. He collaborates closely with network of specialists who are experts in their fields (including osteopaths, physiotherapists, clinical psychologists and vocational rehabilitation specialists/occupational therapists).
Dr Nikolic likes to keep abreast on the latest research and advancements in the field of Pain Medicine and regularly takes part in independent training and research work in order to broaden his knowledge. He is a firm believer in the importance of utilising evidence-based medicine as a firm foundation to provide the highest possible clinical standard of service to his patients.
