Dr Neil Walker is a Consultant Dermatologist who pioneered both micrographic (Mohs') surgery and laser surgery in the UK and continues to maintain a special interest in these areas, as well as the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of skin cancer, and the use of lasers for aesthetic aspects of dermatology in addition to treating birthmarks and other skin conditions. Dr Walker graduated from Westminster Medical School, University of London, in 1975, specializing in Dermatology and training in Cambridge, including a year as Fellow in Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology at the Cleveland Foundation, Cleveland, Ohio, USA. He has been on the Specialist Register since May 1984. His areas of expertise include micrographic surgery (Mohs' / MMS), laser surgery, dermatological surgery, skin tumours, cancer/oncology, warts, paediatric dermatology, birthmarks, acne, and acne scarring.
