Dr Ganan Sritharan undertook his registrar training in North-West London and was subsequently appointed as a Consultant Physician and Geriatrician at St Mary's Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare Trust.

Dr Sritharan developed a novel, all age, embedded medical service with the Vascular Surgical team at St Mary's and was awarded a BMJ award in 2019 for Innovation in Quality Improvement and national recognition from vascular GIRFT programme.

In a role newly created by the hospital, on November 1st 2022 Dr. Sritharan was appointed as the lead for acute medicine and perioperative care at Princess Grace Hospital in an advisory role.

Dr Sritharan was educated at Dulwich College Prep School and Eton College. He studied preclinical medicine at Corpus Christi College, Oxford, and his clinical training at University College London.
