Mr Stephen Robinson is an Endocrinologist addressing all areas of endocrinology and diabetes. He has a particular interest in medical problems in pregnancy, diabetes mellitus, thyroid disease and pituitary disease. He is a general and internal physician performing part of the GIM on call at St Mary"s hospital Paddington.
He trained at Caius College Cambridge, then Westminster Medical School. His post-graduate medical training was mostly at St Mary"s Paddington, now Imperial Academic Health Sciences Trust. He was a Medical Research Council training fellow and now a Consultant and Senior Lecturer at Imperial. He was appointed a consultant and senior lecturer in 1994 and have a breadth and depth of experience in endocrinology and general internal medicine.
Mr Robinson has contributed to specialist working groups at the Royal College of Physicians and Obstetricians. He contributes to the confidential enquiry into maternal health and is the Chair of the thyroid cancer tumour working group.
He contributes to large areas under and postgraduate medical teaching, having been granted the Imperial award for excellence in undergraduate teaching. Mr Robinson lectures on all facets of endocrinology particularly.
