Puneet Monga

Puneet specialises in arthroscopic shoulder surgery, sports injuries and shoulder replacements. His practice is focussed on providing modern, up-to-date, evidence-based care to his patients backed up by a routine audit of outcomes and satisfaction. 

Puneet has been the editor-in-chief for the popular book “Diagnostic Clusters in Shoulder Conditions” [Springer, 2017]. He is on the editorial board for the “Journal of Arthroscopy and Joint Surgery” and “Journal of Clinical Orthopaedics and Trauma”. He reviews scientific articles for many journals including the “American Journal of Sports Medicine”, “Shoulder and Elbow”, “Annals of the Royal College of Surgeons” and “International Journal of Shoulder Surgery”. He also routinely contributes scientific work to national and international conferences and scientific journals.

He routinely teaches at various regional, national and international courses. He is a convener for the Wrightington Shoulder course and the FRCS Orth course. He is the research lead for the Wrightington Master of Surgery (MCh) course.
