Mr Timothy Briggs is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at University College London Hospital NHS Trust. He obtained his medical degree from St Bartholomew's Medical School in 1984 and trained in urology in the UK and abroad. He spent a year in the Concorde Hospital in Sydney, Australia.

Mr Briggs has a special interest in Uro-oncology and is an expert in robotic surgery. As a member of the Pelvic Cancer Team at University College London Hospital, he has been using Da Vinci Robotic System since 2010 and routinely performs robotic radical prostatectomies for the treatment of prostate cancer, cystectomies for the treatment of bladder cancer and cystoprostatectomies (removal of prostate and bladder together). Mr Briggs has impressive experience with over 1000 robotic radical prostatectomies and over 200 laparoscopic radical prostatectomies.

Mr Briggs continues to assess and treat patients with general urological problems including haematuria, urinary tract infections, male and female incontinence, scrotal/genital problems, benign prostate disease.
