Pietro Ivo D'urso is a Consultant Neurosurgeon in Manchester and has been there since 2014. He qualified in 2009 from Italy where he completed his training.

He routinely manages general neurosurgical conditions including brain tumours, degenerative spine, trauma, hydrocephalus, neck pain and low back pain.

His interests also lie in the surgical treatment of benign and malignant brain tumours, awake craniotomies with brain mapping, fluorescence-guided resection of brain tumours, intraoperative neurophysiology monitoring, minimally invasive cranial surgery and cranial endoscopy.
