Mr. Philip Henry Holt has worked in Audiology for over 30 years, gaining extensive experience in assessing and fitting the latest technology digital hearing aids along with complimentary assistive listening devices. He specializes in both the assessment and diagnosis of children and adults with hearing, balance, and tinnitus disorders, offering a range of techniques and rehabilitation programs following diagnosis. Mr. Holt initially trained as an Audiologist at the Royal Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital in Shrewsbury, later completing a Master's degree in Audiology at Manchester University (1996) and a certificate of Audiological Scientist at the University of North Staffordshire. He developed and ran a district hearing and balance service for adults and children. In 2005, he joined the University of Manchester, leading Audiology research networks with the Medical Research Council. While maintaining a part-time lecturing position at the university, Mr. Holt provides high-quality hearing, balance, and tinnitus assessment, diagnosis, and rehabilitative services throughhis own private service. Mr. Holt became a Trustee of Ear Aid Nepal charity in 2015, advising and developing audiology service provision and coordinating international volunteers for the charity.
