About

Mr Nicholas Hill is a Consultant specializing in Gynaecology, with 25 years of experience at The Princess Royal University, part of King's College Foundation. He now works exclusively in private practice at HCA The London Bridge. His areas of interest include advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, laparoscopic treatment of endometriosis, vaginal prolapse surgery, colposcopy, and treatment of abnormal cervical smears. He has a major interest in performing many types of procedures under conscious sedation, thereby avoiding the need for general anaesthesia. He graduated from The University of London and worked in Oxford, where he attained his MD. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and is an accredited trainer for hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery and an accredited colposcopist. Mr Hill has published over 50 publications on specialist Gynaecology topics and has performed over 500 cases of laparoscopic subtotal hysterectomies. He has travelled widely to develop the new PlasmaJet treatment for endometriosis. His professional memberships include the General Medical Council, Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy, European Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy, American Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy, British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, British Medical Association, and Medical and Dental Defence Union.
