Mr. Graham Lawton is a renowned consultant who specialises in Reconstructive Plastic & Hand Surgery and currently practises at King Edward VII's Hospital. He has a profound interest in hand surgery, limb reconstruction after trauma and peripheral nerve injury.
Mr. Lawton graduated in Medicine from the University of London in 1998. He has served in various countries including Kenya, Canada, Iraq, South Sudan, Afghanistan, and Oman, as part of the British Military. His first-hand experience with military injuries has helped him comprehend the implications of physical trauma, and thus he opted for a career in Surgery, specializing in Plastic Surgery for trauma reconstruction.
He completed his specialized plastic surgery training at the Queen Victoria Hospital East Grinstead, followed by fellowship training in extremity reconstruction and major trauma at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and Imperial College London. Furthermore, he received training for peripheral nerve injury at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore.
Mr. Lawton's research interests include regenerative medicine, wounds, and physical trauma. He is a member of the esteemed British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS).
