Mr Chung is a qualified Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon who is fully trained in all aspects of General Surgery. His speciality is Colorectal Surgery as well as key-hole surgery for colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel diseases and complex hernia surgery. 

He is passionate about research and has completed his MD on work focused on the function of the gut. He acts as a principal investigator in his unit for various European scientific surgical trials and is also a convener and tutor of skills courses for the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is a respected lecturer in surgery and is passionate about providing educational seminars and discussion groups for aspects of surgical care.
