Mr David Selvadurai is an ear, nose and throat surgeon, specialising in a range of areas, including the following:
He has expertise in endoscopic ear surgery, transtympanic injections, Epley manoeuvre, auditory implants, bone-anchored hearing aids, and cochlear implants.
Mr Selvadurai became a Consultant ENT Surgeon at St George's Hospital in London in 2004. He earned his medical degree at St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College in 1992, graduating with a Distinction in Surgery. He later became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Clinical Surgery in General) before specialising in ENT. In 1997, he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Otolaryngology.
In 2004, he undertook a research degree at Leicester University before earning the prestigious Graham Fraser Fellowship to support his training in cochlear implantation, Ménière's illness, and advanced otology under Professor WPR Gibson in Sydney. He also spent time as an observer and research fellow at The Boston Children's Hospital, and he is one of the few UK ENT surgeons admitted as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
