Mr Ibraheim El-Daly is a trauma and orthopaedic surgeon based at The London Bridge Hospital, with an NHS post at King's College Hospital. He has a special interest in areas such as pelvic and acetabular trauma reconstruction, bone fractures, custom-made hip and knee replacements, hip and knee revision surgery, knee and hip injections for pain, joint mobilisation and manipulation, knee arthroscopy, osseointegration surgery for amputees, hip and knee joint pain, lower limb injuries, and tendon injuries.
After graduating from St George's University, London in 2007, Mr El-Daly began his training on the Royal London training programme. He then completed his fellowship training at Pitié Salpêtrière, Paris's largest teaching hospital, where he gained advanced skills in 3D CT guided navigation of pelvic and complex trauma surgery, in addition to the direct anterior hip approach. He also received dual fellowship training in complex trauma and lower limb arthroplasty (hip and knee replacements) from Pitié Salpêtrière University Hospital in Paris.
Mr El-Daly is actively involved in research and has published over 18 peer-reviewed articles and 3 book chapters. He has given 21 presentations, both nationally and internationally. He holds a professional teaching certificate in health and medical education, indicating his passion for medical education.
