Dr Kennedy joined The Christie in 2018 working with the Neuro-oncology, Sarcoma and Proton radiotherapy teams. He holds clinics at both The Christie as well as seeing new neuro-oncology patients at Salford Royal hospital.
He previously worked as a consultant oncologist at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals 2014 – 2018 specialising in Neuro-Oncology, SRS, Lymphoma and Acute Oncology after he trained in Clinical Oncology at The Christie hospital 2009-2014. Prior to this, he worked in a number of acute and general medical specialities in Manchester and Greater London.
Dr Kennedy is a core member of the Greater Manchester Neuro-Oncology MDT, Base of Skull MDT, GMOSS Regional Sarcoma MDT and The Sarcoma Proton MDT (The Sarcoma Proton team is a national service for the NHS). He also treats patients requiring Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) for brain metastases.
