Dr Georgios Karagiannis is a Cardiology Consultant who specialises in heart transplants. He practises at Harefield Hospital, where he treats patients from both the private and NHS sectors, as well as at Hillingdon Hospital in the cardiology department.
Dr Karagiannis received his medical degree from Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece, and completed his specialist training in Greece with an 'excellent' mark. He completed his PhD in Cardiology in 2009, also earning an 'excellent' mark. Since 2013, he has worked as a senior clinical fellow in advanced heart failure at Harefield Hospital. He has been recognized for his academic and clinical work with fellowships from the European Society of Cardiology and the European Heart Failure Association.
