Dr Andrew Palmer is a Consultant Nephrologist based at the Hammersmith Hospital (Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust). He also holds an Honorary Consultant post at Central Middlesex Hospital.

He specialises in all aspects of renal medicine, including general nephrology covering all types of chronic kidney disease, acute kidney failure [including HDU and ICU] and end-stage kidney failure. He has 20 years of experience treating patients on dialysis and also has extensive experience performing renal transplants, including living related transplantation

Dr Palmer has authored over 50 publications during his career on a wide variety of subjects. He is regularly invited to lecture at GP regional meetings and has visited a number of local practices to give them updates in renal medicine.

He has treated patients from all over the world, allowing him to understand the different cultures and provide the best treatment to meet individual needs. He enjoys his work and always aims to give the best possible care achieve the best results irrespective of the challenge.
