Dr Agata Grasso is a qualified and experienced Consultant Cardiologist in the UK.

Dr Grasso was trained in Italy and London's Hammersmith Hospital. During her time at Hammersmith Hospital, she completed her MD research project in cardiac imaging and heart failure. Following this, she then went on to obtain her specialisation in cardiology. She worked at the Pitie' Salpetriere in Paris expanding further her experience of Heart Failure, valve disease and cardiac imaging.

Between 2003 and 2006 she worked as Consultant Cardiologist with interest in imaging in Alba (Turin, Italy) before moving to London in 2006 where she worked at the Royal Brompton Hospital within the CMR department and cardiomyopathy/heart failure clinics until 2011. During those years she has been very active in working in different research projects combining imaging and different type of cardiac disease to understand more the nature of the disease and new way of diagnosis, prognosis and treatment.

In 2013 she was appointed at Wexham Park Hospital as Consultant Cardiologist with interest in imaging taking the lead of the Heart Failure service. During that time she managed to establish a well-managed Heart Failure service which, ensures patients and their families are at the center of the care pathway.

Since January 2016 Dr Grasso has been a Consultant Cardiologist with interest in Heart Failure and Imaging at The Royal Free Hospital leading changes and improvements in one of the biggest NHS trust in London after the merger with Barnet and Brent.

Dr. Grasso is very passionate about her work and her priority is to put the patient at the centre of every discussion and decision concerning his or her condition and treatment. She strives to ensure patients and families are fully supported throughout every step of their medical journey.
