Mr. Roy Farrell trained in Medicine at Trinity College Dublin, qualifying in 1983. He completed his training in general surgery in Dublin before moving to Sheffield to train in Otolaryngology with a special interest in Head and Neck cancer. While in Sheffield, he researched the role of viral infections in the aetiology of Head and Neck Cancer. Mr. Farrell then moved to London, working at Great Ormond Street and Northwick Park while completing his training in ear, nose, and throat surgery, specializing in head and neck surgery. Mr. Farrell has continued to work at Northwick Park, where he set up a Head and Neck Unit. He was the Clinical Director at the North West London Hospitals for years. Mr. Farrell then took on the role of MAC chair and assisted in the Hospital's improvement program. Mr. Farrell's special interests include Otolaryngology, Head and Neck problems, and complex Thyroid disease.
