We understand that the thought of giving birth can be both exciting and daunting – particularly if it is your first child. That’s why here at The Portland Hospital, our aim is to ensure you have the best possible pregnancy journey and have a birthing experience in a comfortable and safe environment.
Pregnancy evenings at The Portland Hospital
From the moment you discover you’re pregnant all the way through to parenting, keeping you and your baby safe is our number one priority. We ensure you’re equipped with knowledge, skills and confidence at all times by providing you with evidence-based information as well as practical advice from our expert team of consultants and midwives.
Our pregnancy open evening is free and open to all. During the event you will have an opportunity to:
- Meet our expert team including midwives, obstetric consultants and our maternity patient navigator.
- Receive free one-to-one sessions to discuss your pregnancy and delivery plans. Our team will help guide you through the options available, and put together a delivery experience tailored to your specific needs.
Light refreshments will be provided and you’ll meet other expectant parents.
Tour The Portland Hospital
Our pregnancy evenings do not include a tour of the hospital. If you would like a tour of our hospital and labour ward, you can book one separately by emailing mld.portland@hcahealthcare.co.uk
