  • Major single or multiple limb amputations of any cause
  • A combination of pelvic and lower limb fractures

  • A combination of above injuries

Rapid access to leading trauma surgeons

London Bridge Hospital supports pre-approved medevac transfers from abroad. The programme also provides surgical and rehabilitation care for patients repatriated following accidents or from countries where this level of care is not currently available.

Patients receive first rate surgical care in our CQC rated ‘Outstanding’ facilities, followed by a comprehensive rehabilitation programme aimed at 'getting people back to normality.’

A multidisciplinary team approach

Through a holistic multidisciplinary team approach, every patient will receive a bespoke surgical and/or rehabilitation plan and have access to specialist care from a team of leading trauma surgeons and rehabilitation doctors, plastic surgeons, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, psychologists, prosthetists, orthotists, and nutritionists.

Post-operative care

London Bridge Hospital also specialises in post-operative care in each subspecialist area of orthopaedics. The Orthopaedic Trauma Rehabilitation programme provides patients with access to the latest technology during their rehabilitation, including the use of muscle stimulators and anti-gravity treadmills encouraging mobility in the early stages of recovery.
