He graduated from Edinburgh Medical School in 2004 and worked in Scotland, Ireland, and Australia before accepting a position at St Georges University Hospitals in 2019. Dr Wilson’s principal goals are to help you under the cause of your symptoms and deliver evidence-based treatment to maximise quality of life and reduce the risk of any future cardiac problems. He believes in the importance of tailoring advice and therapies to the individual, working together to achieve the best possible outcome. His particular areas of interest are preventative and interventional cardiology, coronary artery disease, hypertension, shortness of breath, palpitations, and valve disease.

He completed a PhD in cardiovascular research and received an Investigator Award from the European Society of Cardiology in 2017 for his work in development of new drugs to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke. He has published extensively across a host of renowned, peer-reviewed medical journals and authored a book on the treatment of patients with coronary artery disease.
