Mr Paolo Bosco is a Consultant Cardiac Surgeon with over 13 years of clinical experience. He works at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and also provides private consultations at The Harley Street Clinic and London Bridge Hospital.
He completed his medical degree at the University of Bologna in Italy in 2002, followed by a Specialist Diploma in Cardiac Surgery from the University of Catania in 2010. Mr Bosco gained experience across several university hospitals in Italy before relocating to the UK in 2008. He subsequently undertook further subspecialist training in mitral valve surgery through a fellowship at Royal Papworth Hospital.
Mr Bosco’s surgical expertise spans a broad range of cardiac procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair and replacement, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, complex high-risk redo operations, cardiac resynchronisation therapy, and surgical management of cardiac arrhythmias.
