Mr. Sorene obtained his medical degree from University College London and Middlesex School of Medicine (MBBS) in 1995, and completed his Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery training in 2004. He undertook Fellowships in hand, wrist, and upper limb surgery at the Pulvertaft Hand Centre Derby (2004-2005) and the Centre for Hand and Upper Limb Surgery Wrightington, Lancashire (2006). He was awarded the European Diploma in Hand Surgery best candidate in 2005 and the Churchill Livingstone Medal. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery in 2006. Mr. Sorene is an invited faculty member at various courses and trusts, including Wrightington and Derby hand and wrist surgery courses and wrist arthroscopy courses at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is also an editorial board member of the Journal of Children Orthopaedics. His expertise includes acute hand and upper limb trauma, carpal tunnel decompression, wrist replacement, post-traumatic hand and wrist reconstruction, scaphoid surgery, and rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis surgery.
