Mr. Dudley Robinson is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with a subspecialty interest in urogynaecology. He trained at the Royal London Hospital, qualifying in medicine with an MBBS in 1991. During his training in obstetrics and gynaecology, he worked in various London hospitals before undertaking a three-year research fellowship with Professor Linda Cardozo in the King's College Department of Urogynaecology. His research interests include the effects of hormones and drugs on the lower urinary tract, and his MD thesis at the University of London investigated the use of desmopressin nasal spray for managing daytime urinary incontinence. Mr. Robinson completed a two-year subspecialty training and was appointed as a consultant in July 2005. He became an Honorary Senior Lecturer at King's College London in 2009 and a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2010. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and a Member of the Council for the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Section. Mr. Robinson is active in teaching undergraduates and postgraduates and lectures regularly in the UK and internationally. He serves on the editorial board of the International Urogynaecology Journal and has published numerous peer-reviewed papers, articles, and book chapters. He is a member of several professional societies, including the International Continence Society, the British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, the UK Continence Society, the British Society of Urogynaecology, the International Urogynaecology Association, and the European Urogynaecology Association. His clinical expertise includes uro-gynaecology, colposcopy, investigation of lower urinary tract dysfunction, stress urinary incontinence (medical and surgical), overactive bladder, and urogenital prolapse.
