Dr. Luke Dancy, a Consultant Cardiologist specializing in Interventional Cardiology, currently attends to private patients at KIMS Hospital and the Guthrie Clinic, King’s College Hospital. He completed his medical degree in South London in 2008, followed by his PhD at King’s College London.
Dr. Dancy's expertise encompasses the broad spectrum of general cardiology, with a specific emphasis on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the arteries of the heart. He proficiently performs various stenting procedures, from simple to complex, including emergency and chronically occluded cases, conducting these interventions at both Medway and King’s College Hospitals.
Advocating for specialized care during the treatment phase, Dr. Dancy firmly believes that interventions following diagnosis should be conducted by experts in the field. He collaborates closely with his extensive network of skilled colleagues to ensure optimal care for his patients.
In addition to his primary focus, Dr. Dancy has special interests in diagnosing and treating a diverse range of cardiology modalities utilizing 12-lead ECG, echocardiography, 24-hour ECG monitoring, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, diagnostic angiogram, stent implantation (PCI) for both simple and complex cases, as well as implantable loop recorder insertion and removal.
