Kit Wu

Dr. Kit Wu is a distinguished Consultant Neurologist practising at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and The Wellington Hospital (Platinum Medical Centre and Wellington Elstree).

Specialising in Movement Disorders and General Neurology, she adeptly manages a broad spectrum of neurological disorders including headaches, migraines, epilepsy, and peripheral neuropathy.

Dr. Wu plays an integral role in the Parkinson's Disease Centre of Excellence at King's College Hospital, recognized for its outstanding management and research in Parkinson's disease. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, she delivers comprehensive and individualised care to patients with Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders. She is proficient in administering botulinum toxin for conditions like dystonia, blepharospasm, hemifacial spasm, TMJ disorder, and limb spasticity.

Her training in Neurology in South London (King's rotation) was supplemented by a PhD in Neurosciences and a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education, both from Imperial College London. With excellent communication and organisational skills, she has demonstrated innate clinical leadership abilities, further enhanced by a Fellowship in Health Management. Dr. Wu has spearheaded numerous regional service enhancement projects, earning accolades at the King's Annual Medical Leadership Awards for her contributions.

Additionally, Dr. Wu serves as an NHS England Clinical Entrepreneur, recognised for her efforts in promoting healthcare transformation. Notably, she received the NHS Healthcare Transformation award for her leadership in enhancing access to care for the British Chinese community.
