Dr. Robinson is a consultant haematologist who qualified at King's College London and completed her specialist training at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals. She conducted post-graduate research at King's College London, earning an MRes. She has been a consultant haematologist since 2010 and is the lead consultant for patient blood management, pre-operative and post-operative correction of anaemia, transfusion medicine, immune thrombocytopenia, and obstetric haematology. Dr. Robinson is a member of the British Society of Haematology and the British Blood Transfusion Society. She chairs the British Society of Haematology Transfusion Task Force, co-chairs the National Blood Transfusion Committee anaemia working group, and is a member of the NICE Transfusion Guidelines writing group and NICE quality standards for transfusion specialist committee. Dr. Robinson has published over 30 peer-reviewed papers, book chapters, and articles, and lectures throughout the UK and internationally. Her clinical expertise includes anaemia, B12 deficiency, and haemochromatosis.
