Dr. Robinson is a Consultant Haematologist who qualified at King's College London and completed her specialist training at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. She conducted post-graduate research at King's College London, leading to an MDRes.
She has been a consultant haematologist since 2010 and led patient blood management, pre-operative and post-operative correction of anaemia, transfusion medicine, immune thrombocytopenia, and obstetric haematology at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.
Dr Robinson is a fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists, and Royal College of Physicians, and member of the British Society of Haematology and the British Blood Transfusion Society.
She chaired the British Society of Haematology Transfusion Task Force, co-chaired the National Blood Transfusion Committee anaemia working group, and was a member of the NICE Transfusion Guidelines writing group and NICE quality standards.
She has authored several research papers and lectures nationally and internationally on a regular basis.
