Shibani Nicum

Dr. Shibani Nicum is a Consultant Medical Oncologist specializing in ovarian and other gynaecological cancers. She is the Lead Clinician for the Gynaecology Unit, the Oxford Multidisciplinary Team, and the Thames Valley Gynaecology Alliance Group. Dr. Nicum graduated from Birmingham Medical School and completed specialist oncology training at the Royal Marsden in London. She was awarded a national grant from Cancer Research UK for laboratory-based research and a DPhil from the University of Oxford in 2007. Dr. Nicum is the Chief Investigator for several trials, including the CRUK OCTOVA trial and the ICON9 trial. Her expertise includes chemotherapy, immunotherapy, ovarian cancer, and gynaecological cancers.
