Dr Matthew Barnard is a highly qualified and experienced General and Cardiac Anaesthetist. He obtained his degree in Medicine from the University of London in 1986. His expertise includes high risk surgery, cardiothoracic surgery and congenital heart disease - making him an invaluable asset to the medical community.

Currently, Dr Barnard is Clinical Director of Anaesthesia and Clinical Lead for Anaesthesia at the Heart Hospital. Additionally, he holds important positions such as Chair of consultants committee and Chair of Harley Street Clinic's medical advisory committee - highlighting both his experience and authority on matters relating to anaesthesia.
