Ian Gabriel

Dr. Ian Gabriel is a Consultant Haematologist and Lead Clinician. He is also a Stem Cell (Bone Marrow) Transplant Consultant. Dr. Gabriel sees patients privately at several locations. He qualified in medicine from St Mary's Medical School – Imperial College in 1999 and completed specialist training in haematology in London. He holds a joint consultant position specializing in haemato-oncology (myeloma) and stem cell transplantation. Dr. Gabriel leads the service for blood cancers, including myeloma, lymphoma, myelodysplasia, and leukaemia. He completed research for his PhD in transplant immunology and is a founding member of the European Consortium for Stem Cell Mobilisation (ECOSM). He is a member of the European Blood and Marrow Transplant Group (EBMT) and primary and co-investigator on numerous national and international clinical trials in haematology. He has published extensively on lymphoma, myeloma, leukaemia, HIV haematology, and stem cell transplantation, and has authored several book chapters.
