Dr Balvinder Wasan graduated from St Mary’s Hospital Medical School in 1994 and subsequently completed his specialist cardiology training in London. In 2005, he was appointed as a Consultant in Interventional Cardiology at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) and Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital (GSTT). He currently leads the community cardiology service at GSTT.
He was responsible for establishing a local angioplasty service at QEH and also served as Clinical Director for Cardiology.
He has 21 years of experience across all areas of General Cardiology, with a particular specialist interest in cardiovascular disease. His focus includes the identification of patients with coronary artery disease and the prevention of cardiovascular events in this patient group.
