Dr. Anne Armstrong is a well-respected Consultant Oncologist. She is the Head of Medical Oncology and the lead for Systemic Treatment of Breast Cancer in South East London. She graduated with a degree in Psychology and returned to university to study Medicine at the renowned Imperial College London. She completed her medical oncology training at numerous centers of excellence, including the Royal Marsden and Hammersmith. Following this, she completed pioneering research into the molecular genetics of breast and pancreatic cancer and was awarded a PhD. In 2005 she was appointed her first Consultant post. She remains heavily involved in research, being appointed as chief investigator of numerous breast cancer trials. Her areas of expertise include chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, endocrine therapy, and breast cancer.
