About

Dr. Sarah Glynne is a General Practitioner and an esteemed member of both the British Menopause Society and the Newson Health Menopause Society. She is well-versed in providing comprehensive consultations for all aspects of menopause care. Video consultations with Dr. Glynne are available on Wednesdays, while face-to-face or video consultations can be scheduled on Thursdays at The Portland Hospital from 10:00 – 15:30.

Graduating with Honours from Imperial College School of Medicine in 1999, Dr. Glynne became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2002 and the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2008. In 2016, she achieved a Master of Science degree in allergy and immunology at Imperial College, earning distinction in her exams.

As a GP with a specialised focus on menopause, Dr. Glynne not only practices clinically but also holds an academic position at Newson Health, contributing to research and education. Her involvement extends to both the Advisory Board and the Editorial Board of the Newson Health Menopause Society.

In collaboration with Newson Health, Dr. Glynne serves as the chair of a working party dedicated to promoting access to high-quality, evidence-based menopause care for breast cancer survivors. She is deeply committed to ensuring that women navigating menopause symptoms during and after breast cancer treatment receive support in making informed choices about their treatment options.

Dr. Glynne is actively engaged in exploring the connection between Covid-19 and hormone imbalance. Recognizing hormonal perturbations as a significant barrier to recovery in many female patients with long Covid, she advocates for the use of hormone therapy (HRT) to enhance the health and quality of life for affected women.
