Robert Sands

Dr Robert Sands is a General Practitioner and Health Screener who completed his primary medical qualification (MB BS) at University College London in 2013. He provides comprehensive general practice care alongside preventative health services, including health screening, travel vaccinations, immunisations and flu vaccination, contraception and emergency contraception, sexual health advice and sexually transmitted infection screening, stress management, nutritional education, video consultations, referral letters, medical reports, and medical certification.

His clinical work covers adult and family medicine, men’s and women’s health, pregnancy care, menopause support, and routine health assessments. Dr Sands diagnoses and manages a broad range of acute and long-term conditions such as anxiety and depression, asthma, diabetes, anaemia, obesity, osteoporosis, thyroid disorders, high and low blood pressure, raised cholesterol, migraines, headaches, neuropathic pain, pelvic pain, back pain, chest pain, and gastrointestinal concerns including diarrhoea, constipation, gastroenteritis, and abdominal pain.

He also treats common infections and inflammatory conditions, including influenza, pneumonia, meningitis, scarlet fever, whooping cough, rotavirus, food poisoning, gonorrhoea, Lyme disease, eczema, rashes, ringworm, rhinitis, wheezing, and laryngitis. In addition, Dr Sands supports patients with Bell’s palsy, gout, sickle cell anaemia, fever, breast health concerns, and provides wider preventative screening and ongoing primary care.
