Ms Lubna Haque is an accomplished Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician with extensive clinical experience spanning over 20 years. Her expertise covers a wide range of gynaecological issues, and she is skilled in performing various procedures, including smear tests, colposcopy, biopsies, myomectomy, fibroid resection, hysteroscopy, keyhole surgery, ultrasound scanning, early pregnancy problems, endometrial ablation, and more.
As a Senior Lecturer at the University of London Medical School, Ms Haque is involved in training and examining medical professionals, including trainees in gynaecology and obstetrics. She is an experienced colposcopist and gynaecologist, and she has achieved excellent audited management and treatment results in her field. She works closely with other healthcare professionals, such as nurse specialists and physiotherapists, to provide comprehensive and holistic care to her patients.
Ms Haque is a lead clinician in a South London NHS hospital, where she chairs multidisciplinary team meetings that decide on complicated cases in colposcopy and other lower genital tract diseases. She is an active member of the Gynaecology MDT and has performed over 100 hysterectomies, 1000 hysteroscopies, and 500 laparoscopic procedures. She is a certified trainer of the British Colposcopy Society and the lead trainer of the St Helier Hospital Colposcopy Unit. She is also part of the faculty for the RCOG MRCOG examination course and BSCCP course, as well as an examiner for both. Additionally, she supervises the Advanced Training Module (ATSM) of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists for Junior doctors/Trainees in the London region.
Ms Haque is a member of several professional bodies, including the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, and the British Menopause Society. Her dedication to her patients and her extensive experience in the field of gynaecology and obstetrics make her a highly skilled and respected healthcare professional.
